Open Party Trips
Open party trips are sold by the seat and give single riders or groups of 1-2 people the option to jump on a trip with other anglers. We will need a minimum of 3 seats booked to run on the Ghostrider and 4 seats to run on Thirty-One. Most of the time we are able to sell out but if you have a friend who wants to tag along, it's always worth asking to ensure we're able to leave the dock!
9 Hour Halibut / Cod Trip
Since opening in 2021, our 9 Hour Halibut / Cod trip has been the most popular Open Party Trip option. Giving anglers a shot at targeting California Halibut as well as scoring plenty of rockfish and lingcod, this trip makes for a productive and action-packed day on the water.

12 Hour Halibut / Cod Trip
For anglers seeking a longer day on the water at more remote fishing grounds, the 12 Hour Halibut / Cod Open Party Trip is your best bet to catch a true trophy. Targeting huge rockfish, lingcod, and halibut this trip will take you to the beautiful coastline of San Simeon or even into Big Sur if conditions allow.

King Salmon Trip (CLOSED)
Unfortunately we haven't been able to run salmon trips since 2022 due to regulations. But pound-for-pound, there's nothing that swims nearshore Morro Bay that fights as hard or tastes as delicious as a king salmon. If we ever have the opportunity to fish a non-restricted salmon season, we will re-open our books and resume running Open Party King Salmon Trips.

What to Bring and Where to Meet?
What to Bring: A valid CA fishing license per person, food & drinks for the day (soft coolers are best on the boat and cans are preferred over bottles), and a larger cooler in your car for taking home fillet bags (fish cleaning & bags are included with every trip).
What to Wear: We recommend waterproof deck or rain boots if you have them, but old tennis shoes will work fine. Long waterproof pants would be your best bet but jeans will work as well. If you have slicks feel free to wear them as well! We recommend wearing three layers up top to be safe (shirt, sweater, and windbreaker). Mornings in the winter and spring can be chilly, typically starting in the 40s-50s and warming up to the 60s by the afternoon. Spring through fall months are much warmer, with mornings starting in the 50s warming up to the 70s and sometimes 80s in the afternoon.
When & Where to Meet: All of our trips have a rough start-time but we will confirm exactly what time to arrive within a week of your trip. Trips depart from Great American Fish Company where free parking is available for the day.
